Writing a Poetry

We are living in a a world where many people are getting more and more busy. They don't why they are so tired at the end of the day and they say they do not have time for this or that. But they can spend 1-2 hours just reading or commenting of what's going in the social media. and now, our beloved country, Philippines is listed in the lowest category in reading comprehension and second lowest in science and mathematics among 79 countries according to survey.

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) tested around 600,000 15-year-old students in 79 countries through the 2018 Program for International Student Assessment (PISA). Many of us were not happy of the result. Philippines got an average of 340 which is also below the average of OECD average of 487.

Parents should be alarmed with these results and since we always don't get the best education, I think parents has a huge duty to introduce poetry to their children. It only does not calm a mind of a child but it allows us to express our thoughts and heals some emotional pain. Our creativity comes out when we write poems and it opens our mind to understand the language more deeper and helps us appreciate all things around us.

Please bare in mind that we are not only promoting freedom of expression at home but we are building a young artist. Poetry writing helps us bring out what feel either it is fun, love, excitement or fear. And remember how poems collaborate with music. These two elements create love and peace and so let us spread love and peace in this universe now.
