Handling Depression

Whenever we are confused and feeling lost, reaching out to a friend or family member is really important. Many of us doesn't know that we are under depression. this is something that  we must teach our children and so as in school.

But there are some possible ways to beat depression and save lives.

  • Having a regular exercise is one of the best way to take care of your mental health. Exercising or doing a simple run increases your body temperature, which can have a calming effect on the central nervous system.
  • Cut back on spending time in Social Media -  sometimes things we read on social media doesn't help. Real talk with real people helps more. Social media can be addicting and it eats a lot of our time.
  • Calm your mind -  try to reduce stress. practice some mindfulness or meditation and do not overthink on many things.
  • Get plenty of sleep - this is a good habit that you can never go wrong. Our body needs a good sleep. Try to do a little meditation and say your prayers before sleeping as it helps a lot.
  • Stay away for toxic people - if you start to feel something negative from someone and if some person tries to make you feel bad. Stay away from him or her. Cut people out of your life who take advantage of you. Simple signs. If someone spreads rumors or talks badly about someone  they’re likely to do the same for you.
  • Eat Healthy - be mindful of what you eat. We are what we eat. Practice to control your mind and eliminate processed foods from your diet as much as possible.
